Meet Kenton

Kenton 

Kenton was born and raised in Anderson, SC.  His parents are Ken and Pattie Allison.  Growing up, he enjoyed little league baseball, karate, and trips to the mountains with his family.   He graduated in 1997 from T.L. Hanna High School.  In 2004, Kenton graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.  While living in Columbia and attending USC, Kenton worked in the wine section of the Gourmet Shop.  This turned out to be the beginning of what has become his career selling wine.  Currently, Kenton is a sales rep for Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC – one of the Big 3 distributors in SC). 

Kenton’s dog, Bernie Mac, is a dachshund corgi mix (“dorgi”).  Bernie Mac has been trying his best to court Gretel for months, and she seems to be coming around slightly.  In his free time, Kenton trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Alliance of Greenville.  He has been training for over 4 years and is currently a Blue Belt, with the ultimate goal of one day achieving the rank of Black Belt.  Kenton is a very passionate football fan, and of course cheers for his beloved USC Gamecocks.  He loves going to concerts and watching movies.  His favorite music includes Pearl Jam, Guns n’ Roses, The Rolling Stones, Dr. Dre, Jurassic 5, Drive-by Truckers, and Avett Brothers, and his all-time favorite movie is the Big Lebowski.  He’s also a huge fan of Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad.  Kenton’s extensive t-shirt collection is growing by the day. His latest obsession is with space and the universe (he loved Carl Sagan’s Cosmos), so he just added a NASA t-shirt in the rotation.  Kenton considers his best feature to be his perfect eye brows.  For his last meal, Kenton would choose turkey and dressing.  Kenton is really good at Trivial Pursuit, and he has also never lost to Agatha at Connect Four.
